Electricity generation from solar parks saw a 27 percent year over year increment on their generation yield in 2019. This speaks to a significant development in solar power generation. As per CEA last year, the India solar parks delivered a consolidated 46,033 MWh. All things considered, regardless of this remarkable development rate, the 27 percent ascend wasn’t commended by everybody. It is outstandingly lower than the 69 percent development rate estimated in 2018. Various IPPs have confronted extensive establishment challenges in different parts of the nation. They face a scope of various kinds of impediments, like regulatory issues, raising capital from banks and NBFCs, state government dishonoring PPAs etc.
